That background is STUNNING. XD I mean yeah the dragon is awesomness but I'm amazed and impressed at the lighting effects on that water. Great job!!!

Man, if this wasn't a commission for someone else, I would love to purchase this as a print - I am in love with the atmosphere and color palette, and the lighting just seals the deal. You utilized the dragon's color expertly by using more muted natural greys, greens, blues, and browns for the rest of the image. The near-white water reflection and sky are very natural too - the sky isn't always blue, and it's nice to see this variance in an image. The color palette really reminds me of 18th-19th century English and American landscape painting.
