how did you get to draw so damned well!!!
awesome pic though.
i am wondering, did you do the wings with your computer???
and HOW THE HECK DO YOU DO FUR!
*rips at hair*
that is probably one of the reasons i don't have fur, way too much effort for a lazy person like mwah...
anyhow, hope your stressedness deflated.
I love the symbolism in this piece, at least the way I see it, with a character being pulled in two different directions by the body part which is the most important, the neck :3
Makes one think a little regarding one's own situation xD
*nods* Yeah... basically, that was the meaning which the picture had. Although given how old it is now, I don't remember too well what I was thinking about/feeling at the time. But... I always love to do art with some sort of symbolism behind it. Is interesting when people are able to decipher it, as you did
Thanks very much. I appreciate the comment.
I love to decipher art, but most of the time, I end up over-analyzing it after having found out there was no hidden meaning at all xD
It is nice to see that you had put some meaning in this picture though, and that you appreciated my small comment n_n
It is truly fun to draw something with some meaning to it, even if it might be hard sometimes. Those pictures are most usually the best though :3
Heh... I can do the same Although sometimes it seems that people are in ways portraying what's on their mind, when they're doing seemingly random pictures. Even if whatever meaning might not have been intentional. But... yeah, I also over-anaylse things, a lot.
And I agree! When something has meaning behind it, it feels like it's... more, in ways. It can be hard though, as you almost have to convert a thought into an image, in many cases.
Another very powerful work, Zara. Makes me curious what spawned it. *twitches beak* Hm. Not sure what to say, like with the previous image I commented on, there's some sort of power in it. Hard to really put a claw on what. Very emotional indeed, draggy.
Technically I think that is a very smooth and well drawn piece. This piece is very clear and the main character is well drawn. The wings are awfully symmetric (which is very good) and the ball's position between the wings is just perfect!
On the idea level, the piece itself connects perfectly to the title and I like the concept a lot a whole lot! This creation is the kind of creations that stick in your head... and in your favorites too
I love the flame-like design on the wings. And the way you do fur is absolutely amazing. The composition is awesome, except the way it's cut off, makes me want to see the rest of the dragon. Almost like a part of the drawing is missing. Very brillant work though! The entire piece has a powerful sense of feeling and emotion, it's very captivating.
This is beautiful, I love the design. It strikes me as being fairly tribal, and the fur and feather details are fantastic. I also love the expression on the dragon's face, it gives the impression of pained serenity. Very expressive.
wonderful job ^_^ accept im a lil confuzzled O.o well dun matter cause im always confuzzled the fir is nicley detailed and its very nice to see that you have used mixed media, pen and pencil. Wonderful
